Oak Royal Golf and Country Club Wedding Photography | Wesley and Vicky
On occasion it does happen that I receive a booking and I am not available. I understand the painstakingly long hours that goes into finding your photographer, so it is always with deep regret when I have to inform the Bride and Groom that I am unavailable. Even more so when that Groom is the younger brother of my oldest and closest friend.
On this occasion I was due to be on the other side of the camera at my own Son’s wedding. However, several weeks after Wesley and Vicky’s enquiry my son developed several issues with his venue and as a result postponed his wedding to a later date.
After consulting with my son, I got in contact with Wesley and Vicky to see if they still needed an Oak Royal Golf and Country Club Wedding Photographer, and I received their signed contract that day!
Their wedding was to be at Oaks Royal Golf and Country Club and with Wesley and Vicky’s bubbly personalities I knew this would be a fun fuelled day.
Bridal Prep
Bridal Prep was taking place at the Oak Royal Golf and Country Club. I set off early morning and already it had the signs of being a gloriously beautiful summers day. Even though it was still early, it was already hot. As I arrived the corks on the Prosecco had just been popped and the make-up-artists had just arrived. The Bride and her Bridal party with their rollers in their hair and glasses of Bucks Fizz in hand were having the time of their life.
Meanwhile Wesley and the Groomsmen were enjoying the warm sunshine and a light refreshment outside whilst adding the last minute finishing touches.
Vicky looked stunning in her dress with her fathers reaction bringing a tear to everyone’s eye.
The Ceremony
The ceremony room looked sensational. Candles lit the aisle, sparkling drapes were hung and chairs were dressed. Every tiny detail carefully colour coordinated. The Bridesmaids wore Lemon, with the Groomsmen in Grey suits with Lemon accessories (oh yes, and Minion socks….) Perfect colours for such a warm, sunny summers day.
With the ceremony over it was time for the celebrations to continue outside, with everyone enjoying the glorious sunshine.
The Wedding breakfast and speeches were filled with lots of laughter
Then it was back outside where I managed to steal the Bride and Groom away from their wedding party, a rare opportunity for them to spend some alone time on their big day.
As the sun went down it was party time, the dance floor came alive and what a party it turned out to be
Wesley and Vikki’s wedding day was filled with happiness and much laughter, which was shared by each and every guest. It was the perfect day for the most perfect couple.
